We’ve tracked down some of the most popular Instagram pages in order to help you get the fashion influencer look.  Monochrome Melody   To get the ball rolling we’re taking a look at the home of Kirsty, wife and “mumma” of 3 children. Kjg_home is the name of Kirsty’s gram page and her squares show how she has transformed her 1960’s home into a monochrome melody. The house is styled, inside and out, almost entirely in black, white and grey. It’s brilliant, it’s bold and it takes a leaf from the minimalist movement, but without coming across as cold or sparse. On the contrary, for us, Kirsty’s home is stylish, well-balanced and screams contemporary chic.   Top Tip: Use lighting, plants and soft furnishings to soften your interior look.     Family Finesse   Another home interior that uses grey to great effect, but then introduces splashes of colour to bring extra warmth to the feel is Kjgreenhome. Contemporary comfort and lavish luxury are the key to the success of this stunning home. As with her fashion blog, Kirsty perfectly marries classic fashion pieces with edgy styling in a glorious fusion. Think, tailored jacket paired with oversized hoodie and inside, chandelier light in industrial finish.     Top Tip: Seek out feature furniture in bright warm colours and upholstered in plush fabrics.  Modern Luxury   Inside Lydia Millen’s home, we see a lovely example of the modern luxury look. Natural, neutral colour tones are accented with darker feature colours and this creates a sense of drama. Natural materials; stone, wicker, brass and seagrass floor coverings instill a quietness and calmness to the spaces they occupy, whilst lights and lamps are used to great effect providing warmth and accentuating space throughout the house. As well as interiors influencer, Lydia loves fashion, wellness and beauty and this shows in her calm home styling.   Top Tip: Choose feature wall colours that suit the style and period of the property.Creative Comfort   Our next port of call is the Victorian home of Leanne Lim-Walker and from the very first glance at her grid, you can see that it oozes creative comfort. This interior is a little more eclectic both in terms of colour palettes and décor. Period features are beautifully paired with modern furniture whilst dried grasses and textured soft furnishings make for fabulous flourishes – and let’s not forget the wall mural where the gold works in harmony with the black bedframe in front of it – a nod of the head to the Japani trend?     Top Tip:  Japani is the best of Japanese minimalism and Scandi simplicity. Soft Restraint Finally, if you’re looking for a soft, conservative, contemporary look, then Home of the Silver Mermaid will surely offer you the inspiration you need to get started. Warm neutral colours on the walls with plush carpets and rugs are the perfect stage for furnishings, fittings and fixtures. Space is used wisely throughout the home, the corner sofa in the living room being a prime example. Pink is one of the prominent colours and is complemented with other soft shades.  Oh and we love the lights in the bedroom!
